Esports Innovation Center at Stockton University Welcomes New Board Members
Atlantic City, NJ, July 16, 2024 – The Esports Innovation Center (EIC) at Stockton University is thrilled to
announce the appointment of four new board members: Dr. Jennifer Aarons, Dr. Noel Criscione- Naylor,
Demetrios Roubos, and David Weinstein. These esteemed professionals replace Scott Huston and Brian
Kowalski, who have diligently served on the board since the EIC’s inception.
Dr. Jennifer Aarons and Dr. Noel Criscione-Naylor, both casino industry veterans, are faculty members at
Stockton University in the Hospitality, Tourism & Event Management program, and were on the committee
to develop and launch the Bachelor of Science in Esports Management program. Their extensive experience
and leadership in these fields will bring invaluable insights and guidance to the EIC as it continues to advance
its mission of fostering innovation and excellence in the esports industry. Dr. Aarons will serve as the
Secretary of the EIC’s Board of Directors, with Dr. Criscione-Naylor serving as Treasurer.
David Weinstein is a partner with Archer & Greiner, P.C., a prestigious full-service law firm and an EIC
member. A significant portion of David’s practice is dedicated to representing clients in the esports industry.
His expertise in esports law and regulations will be a significant asset to the board, ensuring that the EIC
remains at the forefront of legal and ethical standards in the rapidly evolving esports landscape. Mr.
Weinstein will serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Demetrios Roubos brings over 15 years of expertise in Innovation and Cybersecurity at Stockton University as
the founding director of the Office of Information Security and facilitator who established and grew the
university’s acclaimed Stockton Esports competitive program. Stockton has received numerous accolades,
including 1st place in ECAC for Fortnite in 2019, 2nd place in CRL Worlds at DreamHack Dallas for Rocket
League in 2022, and 1st place in the inaugural Garden State Esports Collegiate Cup in 2024. Mr. Roubos is a
certified penetration tester, forensics analyst, incident handler, and information security professional. Mr.
Roubos will serve as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The new appointments were officially made on July 15, 2024, during the annual board meeting held at the
Esports Innovation Center at Stockton Atlantic City.
